I was Wondering...A general recommendation is every 2 to 3 weeks. If you tend to tweeze your eyebrows, you may need to thread more frequently initially. Once you start regularly threading, the hairs will slowly begin to grow slower. However, every few months you should allow your eyebrows to grow in fully -- this helps keep your natural shape.
One thing to keep in mind is that the hairs are being removed from the root. If you remember the sensation you felt the first time you waxed or tweezed your eyebrows, that’s the worst it could possibly feel. However, many feel that threading is gentler than both waxing and tweezing. Be sure to inform your esthetician if it’s your first time threading, or if you are feeling any discomfort.
One end of a spool of cotton thread is un-wound and secured by the esthetician (typically between their teeth). The long thread is then twisted. The loop is held in one hand and the spool is secured in the other. The threadist will roll the thread over the unwanted hair in a precise manner to gently lift and remove the hairs from it’s roots.
I learned in India while I was visiting several years ago. Initially, I would thread my sisters and friends. Then I began working part-time in salons.
We are strictly dedicated to providing threading services, at this time.
